GL events Group certified Safe & Clean in France
In November 2021, the Safe & Clean certification was renewed for another year in all the Group's establishments and businesses in France. Having being certified in July 2021 for one year, the Group's international businesses (excluding China) also benefit from this certification.
Safe & Clean provides a genuine quality guarantee, issued by APAVE, an independent certification body. It certifies that the risk-prevention measures deployed by the Group in response to the COVID epidemic are thorough and rigorous and will ensure the safety of both employees and the general public during events.
A certification based on 9 principles
In order to control potential health risks and ensure safety, the health and safety measures implemented by the GL events Group are based on 9 principles:
- Reinforced hygiene
- Protecting the areas in which people circulate
- Physical distancing
- Management of incidents
- Staff training in risk management and prevention
- Testing facility and health pass
- Designation of a health and safety coordinator in the Group
- Implementation of an adapted communication process with the event organiser and/or exhibitors and/or service providers
- Development and implementation of profession-specific health and safety guidelines, in accordance with the instructions and protocols issued by the competent authorities
