The expertise of the GL events Group at the service of the Festival de Cannes

The 76th Festival de Cannes took place from 16 to 27 May 2023. 
As a long-standing supplier to this major event in the film industry, the GL events Group once again contributed to the smooth roll-out of the Festival by drawing on its complementary areas of expertise. The Group provided a wide variety of services including structures and stages to host the various festival events and outfitting and decoration services to create functional, aesthetic spaces. The group also designed and produced stands for exhibitors and the festival's partners, and provided audiovisual and power-distribution equipment, signage and furniture.

Focus on structures, stages and general contracting

In particular, the Group supplied: 
- 2,000m² of partitions as part of the general contracting service for Marché du Film
- 4,600m² of event structures on the Croisette
- 600m² of structures for the Agnès Varda cinema on the roof of the Palais des Festivals (the cinema structure had a height of 7.5m) 
- 1,500m² of stage structures

The structures and stages were erected in a record time of 22 days, thanks to the efforts of over thirty people.
