This year's exhibition will, once again, bring together every sector involved in mountain-related activities
Expo Andes is the only trade event for companies and organisations involved in mountain activities in South America. It will take place from 12 to 14 October 2022 at the Metropolitan Santiago Convention & Event Centre in Chile.
Organised by FISA, a Chilean subsidiary of the GL events Group, the event brings together all the different players involved in mountain activities, such as tourist offices, ski schools, tour operators, cable-car operators, government ministries and local authorities, as well as companies involved in sectors such as mining, energy, construction.
An event that combines a trade fair and congress
Expo Andes has two distinct components for the visitors and exhibitors that participate in the event: a trade fair and congress.
The trade fair gives the 70 international exhibitors the opportunity to present their various products and services, whether for tourist destinations and organisations in the Andes or for the mining industry.
The congress aims to act as a forum for sharing experiences and knowledge between experts, institutions and international personalities in the different sectors concerned.
A total of 40 speakers, more than 5,000 visitors and 150 companies are expected for this 6th edition.
Expo Andes, the event with an international profile
This year, some 70% of the exhibitors at ExpoAndes will be coming from all around the world. Many countries will be represented, with a strong European contingent: Andorra, Argentina, Austria, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Panama, Poland, Russia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United States.
