GL events, a leading provider for major international sports events
The GL events Group is proud to announce that its subsidiary GL events Chile will be the largest supplier of temporary overlays for this year's Pan American and Parapan American Games, which will take place from 20 October to 5 November and from 17 to 26 November 2023 respectively, in Santiago, Chile.
In fact, GL events will provide 75% of the temporary facilities for the event. This includes setting up 43,000m² of modular structures and grandstands (with a capacity of 14,000 seats), installing air conditioning systems and modular flooring, and providing various other services.
The Pan American and Parapan American Games are the biggest multi-sport event in the Americas, bringing together the best athletes from across the continent.
After meeting Harold Mayne-Nicholls, Executive Director of Santiago 2023, Olivier Ferraton, the Deputy Managing Director of GL events, said: "As a company that has already been involved in organising several major sporting events around the world, it is very important for us to be involved in the 2023 Pan American and Parapan American Games, since this is a key event for the Americas."
