How to buy and hold GL events shares?
GL events shares can be purchased through an ordinary share account or a Share Savings Plan (Plan d'Epargne en Actions or PEA). To do this, contact your usual financial intermediary (bank, credit institution, online broker, stockbroker, etc.). He or she will tell you about the different investment vehicles available and explain how to place a stock market order. You can also contact CMCIC, our financial institution and registrar, for opening an account and acquiring GL events shares in pure registered form. This will enable you to benefit from the advantages associated with this type of ownership, including exemption from custody fees.
Types of share ownership
There are two ways of holding securities in France:
• To the bearer: bearer shares are managed by a financial intermediary (bank, credit institution, online broker, stockbroker, etc.). chosen by the shareholder. In this case, the issuing company (GL events) does not know your identity.
• Registered shares: the shareholder's name appears in the records of the issuing company (GL events). This system enables the company to communicate with its shareholders. There are two ways of holding registered shares:
o Pure registered shares: shares are registered and held in the shareholder's name in the company's books, which are managed in the case of GL events by CIC Market Solutions.
o Administered registered shares: the shares are registered in the company's books but are held by the financial intermediary chosen by the shareholder.
