A new chapter begins for Parc Chanot, an iconic venue at the heart of Marseille. Since January 1, 2025, GL events, in partnership with CCIAMP Infrastructures, has taken over its management for the next three years. This project carries a bold ambition: to transform this historic site into a driving force for Marseille's economic, cultural, and event-based influence while opening its doors to the people of Marseille.

A PROJECT IN SERVICE OF THE CITY

With this new chapter, GL events envisions a transformed, vibrant Parc Chanot deeply connected to Marseille. The goal is to make this landmark location a must-visit event destination in the Mediterranean, reimagined to meet today's expectations.

The project aims to bring Parc Chanot closer to the people of Marseille by opening it more to the city and incorporating green spaces to create a true hub of community life. GL events will leverage its expertise to rethink the event offerings, proposing bold and inclusive events tailored to cultural, economic, and social challenges. Additionally, the park's future will embrace sustainability, with developments designed to reduce environmental impact while fostering inclusion and community spirit.

Marseille Events will also introduce new events for both the general public and professionals, centered on key themes such as gastronomy, industry, and fashion. Preparations are already underway for a historic milestone: the 100th anniversary of the Foire de Marseille.

This transformation embodies an ambitious vision, resolutely future-focused, that will elevate Marseille’s profile far beyond its borders.

A LOCAL DYNAMIC AT THE HEART OF THE PROJECT

To bring this transformation to life, GL events has partnered with CCIAMP Infrastructures to create a dedicated entity, bringing together the existing teams. This partnership is built on complementary strengths: on one side, GL events’ renowned expertise in managing large-scale event venues; on the other, CCIAMP’s deep-rooted connection to the local economy and stakeholders. Together, they aim to make Parc Chanot a beacon of influence for Marseille, the Mediterranean, and beyond.

The new subsidiary is part of a dynamic transformation while remaining true to the Group’s commitment to regional development. This emblematic site, where history and modernity meet, is poised to write a new chapter in its storied history.
