With 75,000 sqm of event space and 36 hectares of landscaped gardens, the Hungexpo exhibition and convention centre in Budapest is the largest in Hungary. The site is only 15 minutes from the city centre and 20 minutes by car from the international airport.
Hungexpo is the ideal venue to host large-scale events, it can hold up to 15,000 people for congresses or conventions. Maximum flexibility of room sizes, tailor designed layout that best fit the event, everything is on-street level to make the best working event flow.
Hungexpo Budapest Congress and Exhibition Centre is getting a €170m refurbishment project including the expansion of the event space by adding two new halls. All existing halls will also receive a refurbishment, with new flooring, and a facelift on the exterior aspect. In addition, a state-of-the-art conference centre will be constructed. The three-level high-tech congress centre includes a 2,000 pax auditorium and three dozen flexible size meeting rooms, plus a 2,350 sqm rooftop terrace. The whole project is expected to be completed by mid-2021.
