GLOBAL INDUSTRIE: The leading French exhibition for the entire industrial sector

From 5 to 8 March 2019 at the Lyon Eurexpo Exhibition Park.

The only French exhibition representing every sector of industry will bring together, for the first time:

-    The entire international industrial ecosystem: start-ups, major groups, subcontractors, manufacturers of equipment or solutions, competitiveness clusters, research centres, etc.
-    The entire value chain: R&D, design, production, maintenance, service, training, etc.
-    All areas of use

GLOBAL INDUSTRIE combines four leading, complementary trade fairs:

-    MIDEST, the international reference in the field of subcontracting expertise 
-    SMART INDUSTRIES, the trade fair for smart, connected, collaborative and efficient factories 
-    INDUSTRIE, the trade fair for production technologies and equipment 
-    TOLEXPO, the international trade fair for sheet and coil metalworking, tubes and sections 

This event enables each show to consolidate their strengths by attracting new visitors and exhibitors. Indeed, the inaugural event was a major success in 2018 in Paris, with:

- 100,000 m² of exhibition area
- 2,254 exhibitors from 50 sectors 
- 40,800 visitors, i.e. +27% compared to the previous combined attendance of all for trade fairs, with 80% of decision makers 

There were 4 key highlights: 

-    The Connected Factory: the 1st temporary factory focusing on the industry of the future, covering 1,000m², 80 companies, with 8,000 visitors and medals engraved
-    The Campus: 1,500m² devoted to training and employment, fostering relationships between companies and their future collaborators
-    The Awards: 7 winners in 7 categories reflecting the diversity of the sector
-    The Conferences: an exceptional programme addressing the latest developments

In 2019, GLOBAL INDUSTRIE will take place for the first time in Lyon, in the leading industrial region in France and one of the largest in the European Union.
