GL events supports the National Guard and its reservists

On April 10th, 2025, GL events formalised its commitment to supporting France’s national reserve policies through the signing of a partnership agreement, in the presence of representatives from the Armed Forces, the National Gendarmerie, and the National Police.

 

A PARTNERSHIP IN SUPPORT OF CIVIC ENGAGEMEN

By becoming a partner of the National Guard, GL events affirms its desire to support a key initiative that strengthens the link between citizens and the nation’s defence and security forces.

Created in 2016, the French National Guard brings together all voluntary operational reservists from the Armed Forces (Army, Navy, Air and Space Force) as well as from internal security forces (National Gendarmerie and National Police).

These women and men volunteer alongside active forces to meet the operational needs of the country, while pursuing their professional careers in civilian life.

Today, France has nearly 84,000 reservists and plans to increase this number to 105,000 by 2030.

A CONVENTION TO SUPPORT EMPLOYEE RESERVISTS

The agreement signed by GL events provides concrete measures to facilitate the engagement of its employees in the reserves. These include leave arrangements to allow time for training or operational activities, recognition of this commitment within the company, and raising awareness among teams about the missions of the National Guard.

This agreement fully reflects GL events' civic values and its commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
