Festival Art Explora
Art Explora Festival, a unique cultural event
After a first successful stopover in Marseille, the Art Explora Festival, launched by the Art Explora Foundation, continues its cultural journey accross the Mediterranean, with a second stopover planed for Tanger, on September 20th, 2024.
Born from the desire to create a museum on a boat and an itinerant festival in 15 countries around the Mediterranean, this unique event has one objective: to make culture accessible to all. Each stopover turns into a ephemeral village on the dock, where concerts, expositions, dance and virtual reality blend to offer an immersive cultural experience.

The Group's expertise in event fit-out
After months of preparation and study, GL events was able to propose a personalized layout for the ephemeral village on the dockside, including :
- Installation of containers, roofs, bay windows, frames and all connecting parts
- Painting the outside walls of the containers
- Creation of openings (windows and doors) and platforms serving as terraces
- Installation of self-supporting floors and walls in the exhibition area
- Custom-built interior partitions, reception desk, boutique and pitchroom
- Installation of electrical distribution, wifi coverage and air conditioning
- Lighting and sound systems.
This mobile ephemeral village requires 10 days to assemble.
GL events was faced with numerous technical and innovative challenges, including the inflatable roof, directly inspired by the movements of the sea, the natural element at the heart of this project.
