GL events had a consolidated annual revenue of €1,041 million in 2018, up 9% (9% on a like-for-like basis). A total of 50% of the year's business was generated in international markets.
For GL events Live, some of the major projects in 2018 included Equita Longines Lyon, the Paris Motor Show, Formula E in Saudi Arabia and COP 24 in Poland. As regards GL events Exhibitions, it is particularly worth noting the great success of the first Global Industrie exhibition in Paris. GL events Venues reinforced its network by signing new venues in Reims, Saint-Etienne, Caen and Dubai, and renewed its management contracts for the Scarabée in Roanne (for 10 years) and the Lyon Convention Centre (for 20 years).

Olivier Ginon, the Chairman of GL events, points out that: "In 2018, a year which marked the Group's 40th anniversary and 20th year on the Paris Stock Exchange, GL events exceeded €1 billion in revenue for the first time. The company's great performance over this financial year is down to the commitment of all our teams, whom I would like to thank. Supported by the capital increase operation carried out last October, this double-anniversary year was also marked by major development projects in Asia, and notably in China."
