GL events focuses on digital carbon neutrality solutions for "MICE cities"
The China International Import Expo (CIIE) took place from 5 to 10 November 2021 in Shanghai, China. This global event gives international companies the opportunity to boost their business development in the Chinese market.
The GL events Group was an exhibitor at the event for the third successive year. The Group presented its "Digital Carbon Neutrality" solutions for MICE cities (i.e. cities that host Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions) in the New Products & Services Launch Area, in order to inform customers about new sustainable development solutions.

The Group organised a series of hybrid
"G-Lounge Talk" sessions at the exhibition
On 6 and 7 November 2021, the GL events Group organised a series of 4 hybrid "G-Lounge Talk" sessions focusing on 4 key topics:
- Ecological business development
- Brand influence
- Visionary power
- The competitiveness of "MICE cities" (i.e. cities that host MICE events)
The sessions aimed to address the opportunities and challenges of the MICE sector, as well as brand marketing trends, the management of smart, green event venues and the sustainable competitiveness of post-pandemic cities. The sessions involved players from various sectors, including Mr. ZHOU Yiwei, General Manager of BCG Exhibitions & Events, Mr. YANG Shengxin, Marketing Director of AS Monaco Football Club China and Ms. SUN Qixian, Vice President of Government Relations and Public Affairs at Weber Shandwick China.
