The leading event for professionals and lovers of literature is back in Salvador de Bahia

After 9 years of absence, the Bienal do Livro Bahia took place in Salvador Convention Center, Brasil, from November 10 to 15, 2022.

The 5 largest publishing houses in the country participated in this event with more than 150 exhibiting brands and over 70 hours of content. Produced by a hundred authors and personalities, the content was a delight for both professional and amateur visitors.

The Group's know-how serving a record edition

This book event attracted more than 90,000 visitors in six days, exceeding expectations of 80,000 visitors. This record-breaking edition even welcomed 20,000 visitors on Saturday, a record attendance not recorded since the Salvador Convention Center opened in January 2020. Thanks to its format combining print and digital, the next edition in 2024 is highly anticipated!

This record-breaking event once again demonstrates the expertise and complementary nature of the Group's expertise. In addition to organizing this event, GL events hosted it at its venue, the Salvador Convention Center. Two of its pavilions were occupied for the occasion.
